Alden J. Collier "Bud", 83 of Coxsackie New York passed away May 19, 2014 at the Albany Stratton VA Medical Hospital.

Bud was born in Albany, New York son of the late Jonas and Bernice Kelly Collier. He served in the US Air Force in both Greenland and Korea and was awarded the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal. Bud enjoyed the outdoors, photography, music and family clambakes.

He is survived by his sister, June Collier Pearce and her husband Richard of Marietta, Georgia; Sister-in-law Janet Collier of Leesburg, Florida and Saranac Lake, New York; Nieces Dr. Candace Pearce, Cathy Pearce Williams and husband Thomas, Cynthia Pearce LeMay and husband James all of Marietta, Georgia. Bud is also survived by nephews William Collier and wife Brenda of Crown Point, New York; Craig Collier and wife Barbara of Saranac Lake, New York; and Richard Collier and wife Brooke of Arlington, Massachusetts. In addition, Bud is survived by a host of grand nieces and nephews, as well as other relatives and friends.

A gravesite tribute will be conducted at Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont New York on June 12, 2014 at 11:00 am, with Father John Moyna offering prayers and thoughts. A Military Honor presentation will be conducted by the Air Force followed by bagpipe selections.
