Obituary

Antoinette Teresa Alberti, formerly of Route 32, Catskill died Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Kaaterskill Care, Catskill. She was 96.

She was born in the Bronx, a daughter of the late Nicholas and Catherine DiPrima Floriano. She lived and attended school at Mother Cabrini, Esopus. She moved from Brooklyn to this area in 1966. For many years Antoinette worked as a seamstress at the Saugerties Dress Shop and later at Sandy’s Boutique. A communicant of Sacred Heart Church, Antoinette belonged to the former Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court Theresa #277, Catskill.

Beloved wife of Peter Alberti who died November 3, 1968, mother of Salvatore Alberti and his wife Rosemarie of So. Cairo, Veronica Burnett and her husband Harry of Kiskatom; grandmother of Carol, Donna and Melissa Burnett all of Kiskatom, Christine and James Evans of Powell, TN, Faith McKenna and her husband, the late Lance, of Coxsackie, Jennifer and Dana Atwood of Dracut, MA, Peter and Cheryl Alberti of Athens; great grandmother of Garrett McKenna, Lee Alberti-Atwood, Monroe and Pauline Evans, sister of the late Angelina, Rose, Dorothy, Millie and Robert. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at Millspaugh Camerato Funeral Home, 139 Jefferson Heights, Catskill. The funeral procession will form on Thursday morning at 9:00 am. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Paul Guido at Sacred Heart Church, 23A, Palenville at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
