Obituary

Harry M. Wager, age 90 of Catskill died Friday evening, January 19 at Eden Park Health Care Center where he had been a resident since December 13, 2003.
Mr. Wager was born in Saskatchewan, Canada on March 19, 1916 to the late Matthias and Clara Troutman Wager. He co-owned and operated Wager Brothers Dairy on Old Kings Road for many years with his late brother Henry Wager. He was a board member of the former ALF, a former member of the Dairylea Association, Farm Bureau, Asbury Grange, Saugerties Masons, West Camp/Saxton Fire Co., Cementon Sportsman's Club, as well as former tax collector for the Town of Catskill.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at noon in the Remembrance Chapel of the Millspaugh Camerato Funeral Home at 139 Jefferson Heights in Catskill with his grandson, Rev. Lance M. Wager, Pastor of Maranatha Baptist Church in Dover, Delaware officiating. Interment will follow in the Catskill Rural Cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited to call at the funeral home on Monday evening from 7-9 p.m. and again from 10 a.m. Tuesday prior to the funeral.
Mr. Wager is survived by his wife, Mildred Burger Wager whom he married in November of 1992 and three children: Mrs. Edward (Gail) Mokhiber of Sleepy Hollow Lake, Harry W. (Vera) Wager of Old Kings Road, and Donald (Nancy) Wager of Coxsackie; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sisters: Emma, Dora, and Sophie; as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife, Eleanor Bishop Wager on January 30, 1989 and five siblings.
