Miss Dopp was born in Catskill on October 7, 1930 to the late Edward R. and Ethel Blakeslee Dopp. She graduated from high school and received her biblical studies certificate from the Zion Bible Institute in Rhode Island. She was a retired postal worker in NYC near the World Trade Center. She enjoyed crocheting, various collections, and was an avid attendee at the Tabernacle of Praise and Worship in Catskill.
Miss Dopp is survived by seven nieces and nephews: Susie Victoria Lesnic of Catskill, Jack Gates of Jewett, Ruth Clarke of Florida, David Muller of Salisbury Center, NY, Sandra Lee Proper of Hudson, Linda Hatker of Catskill, and Mrs. Fred (Sharon) Baker of Leeds; as well as several great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters: Ruth Dopp, Hazel Proper, and Bertha Muller in addition to nephew Stephen Muller.
Private cremation was conducted on Monday, June 11 at the Albany Rural Crematorium under the direction of the Millspaugh Camerato Funeral Home at 139 Jefferson Heights in Catskill. A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held at the Tabernacle of Praise and Worship at 298 Main Street in Catskill on Saturday, June 23, 2007 at 2 p.m. Electronic condolences may be posted at www.millspaughcamerato.com
