John loved his family. He is survived by his children George Mayr (Monica Tasca), Rose Sledzianowski (Fred), John Mayr (Iciani Figueroa), Donna Herzog (John), Joseph Brunner (Teshanna); his grandchildren Steven, Malinda, Daniel, Gregory, Joseph, Kennedy and Jacob; great grandchildren Kerri, Kaylee, Catherine, Madeline and Emilia; his siblings Robert Brunner (Lynne) and Emily Brunner. Many nieces and nephews also survive.

Special thanks to Tashanna, his dear daughter in law, grandson Jacob and granddaughter Kennedy for always being there for him.
