Obituary

Joseph Charles Clifford Coe, 49 of Leeds passed away on September 22, 2011 during surgery at Benedictine Hospital in Kingston, NY. He was born on September 6, 1962 in Johnson City, NY to Shirley Lois Yorganson and James Nelson Clifford and also to his foster father William Perry Coe. He is survived by his loving wife Aileen Stewart Coe. They were married on June 29, 2002.
He was a loving husband, son, and devoted friend. He loved to repair small engines, cook, tell jokes, and play his guitar. He struggled with Chronic Renal Failure and was a dialysis patient for 27 years. He shared his courage with his family and friends. He had a strong love of life and insisted on making everyone laugh. His strength made everyone around him appreciate life more.
Other surviving family members include: step-father Wayne Yorgenson, brother James Nelson Clifford, Jr., three step-sisters: Linda Osinskie, Sherry Creater, and Rosemary German; step-brother William Perry Coe, Jr.; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and nephews. He was also cherished by his mother and father-in-law Ann and Ronald Stewart; sisters-in-law: Jane Stewart Cardinale and Hazel Stewart; brothers-in-law: Jason Cardinale and Norman Clark; nephew Ian.
A memorial service will be held at The Inn at Leeds on Saturday, October 1, 2011 from 2 to 4 p.m. Donations to Joe's memory may be made to Columbia-Greene Dialysis at 159 Jefferson Heights, Catskill, NY 12414
