Mrs. Waldron was born in Coxsackie on July 31, 1942 to the late Frederick and Phyllis Collier Van Zandt. She was an avid NSCAR and Dirt Track Racing fan who also loved caring for her family.
Mrs. Waldron is survived by her daughter Dawn Raffiani, son and daughter-in-law Charles and Diane Raffiani, all of Catskill; three grandchildren: Jill Raffiani of Troy, Charles Raffiani currently serving in the US Marine Corps, and Mikayla Rivenburgh of Catskill; two sisters: Sherry Blanck of St. Petersburg, FL and Phyllis Gabrielle of Catskill; brother-in-law Douglas Waldron of Coxsackie as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Donald Waldron in October of 2005.
A Committal Service will be held on Saturday, May 26 at 11 a.m. in the Town of Catskill Cemetery with Rev. Retta Lykens, Pastor of the Cairo United Methodist Church officiating. Private cremation was conducted on Wednesday, May 23 at the Albany Rural Crematorium under the direction of the Millspaugh Camerato Funeral Home at 139 Jefferson Heights in Catskill.
